MSc Philosophy of Science
London School of Economics and Political Science
Hi! I am an MSc Philosophy of Science student at Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method, London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to that, I studied MMathPhil Mathematics and Philosophy at Balliol College, University of Oxford.
My research interests lie broadly in the general philosophy of science, with a particular focus on the sociology of science, classification, conceptual changes and conceptual engineering. Some adjacent interests include conceptual schemes, rationality, relativism, incommensurability, causation and explanation. My current research focuses on conceptual engineering in philosophy of science related to classification and conceptual changes, and the normative considerations thereof.
I’m also interested in the philosophy of Wittgenstein, social philosophy, philosophy of mathematics, logic, and 20th-century analytic philosophy. Sometimes I work on topics in sociology, such as identitarianism (incl. identity politics), sociology of knowledge, and Pierre Bourdieu.
