Tractarian Quantification and Logical Empiricism (Draft)

The demise of logical empiricism seems only of historical interests nowadays, except for maybe a few headstrong defenders, so I am writing this merely as some personal remarks. What I am going to argue is that logical empiricism shares the same commitment as early Wittgenstein’s theory of quantification, and for that reason, they face the same challenge from Church’s Theorem.
